Marginal Spot with 66

This hand happened right after my railer, Ryvverat, signed off for the night so I need some input.

I was going to fold until LarryMontana called. Deemed that he had enough behind that I was getting proper odds. I deemed that without actually doing any math. Was I right?

  2. limp with 66 ok, got to be expecting a raise to punish limpers somewhere along the line so I do raise this more than i limp in early position. A soft table i will limp sometimes.

Larrymontana is bad. His raise into a multiway pot is nowhere near enough. $1.50 into a $3 with 5 players to act after him and him being oop on the flop. haha.

knowing he is that bad makes your call easier. i think he gives you just about right odds to call the $6.25. Current pot + his remaining stack is 74.66 right ? giving you around 12-1 in position against a potentially bad player.

Great flop. Always good when an Ace or King flops with your set. small chance KK/99 irrelevant as you cannot fold a set here with those stacks. more likely AK or good combo draw KcQc. He also may have QQ,JJ,TT here as your preflop play more often than not says you dont have a AK,AA,KK and only Kx worries TT-QQ.

I also think we may be overthinking this hand.

I see it as bad sized bet from LarryMontana created good odds for you in position to stack him. Great flop, cash in, pump fist.

  3. IMHO. You got lucky period.

limping preflop after one limper. No biggie. See if you can see a flop for cheap.

Bad guy raies. I don't like a call here. Raise to isolate or fold with so many people left to act.

    Again, just my humble opinion

Ok.. shortie goes all in. yep. that screams of a big hand. Bad guy calling almost irrelevant.

You need to call 6.25 into a pot of around $22 with one more to act behind you. You do really need 13-1ish to set mine and make this profitable; but you are not getting anywhere close to this.

You called and won. NH. The fact that the bad guys weren't very good maybe makes it ok
